A little bit about our music classes:

In the music classes at MCMS, students learn the fundamentals of music such as music literacy, analysis, history, and performance. Whether it's choir, band, or general music, students access their creative sides to develop an appreciation for music and learn what makes it special.

Little bit about me:

I am entering my tenth year of teaching and my second year at MCMS. Outside of school, I serve as a music director at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Little Rock and play percussion in the Little Rock Winds and the Arkansas Symphony. I love teaching because music was so important to me as a young person and I enjoy seeing it become meaningful to my students.

MCMS Expectations:

Be respectful

Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment

Share space effectively

Engage in productive work
