Maumelle Charter Middle School

Hi there! My name is Mrs. Golden. This is my 8th year in  education and my 2nd year at Maumelle Charter Middle  School. I have previously taught 3rd grade and am in 5th grade again this year. 

I grew up in Little Rock and graduated from the University  of Arkansas at Little Rock with a bachelor’s degree in  early childhood education in 2017. I also received  my ESOL certification in 2023. I am married to my husband, Felton,  for almost 14 years and we have 3 kids together: Ava,  Annie and Myles. I am also a dog mom to Ivory, our mini schnauzer.

I am excited to be your child’s 5th grade teacher and am  looking forward to a successful year filled with fun, hard  work and lots of great memories!

The best way to reach me is via email. I will answer within 24 hours on school days. Please send an email to mcmsattandance@academicsplus.org and copy me if your child is staying home sick.  If a student is absent for vacation or sickness, they will make up any work missed when they return. All graded assessments will be given at school. Grades are updated in the Home Access Center (HAC) weekly.
