For extra math help have your student log into clever.com with their school chromebook credentials. This will give you access to their online workbook through Great Minds and to IXL.
6th Grade is currently working on IXL skill Q. Rational Numbers
7th Grade is currently working on IXL skills BB. Perimeter and Area and CC. Surface Area and Volume
Here is a link to my lesson plans so that you can check what our upcoming graded assignments are! Often, my plans will change day-of if I notice a trend that needs to be revisited. I will do by best to update these plans but I can promise that large assessments like quizzes and tests will only ever be pushed back, not forward! For math classes, plans are often copied from the teacher curriculum since we are most often following the lessons as written. Lessons plans here :)
How to access digital exit tickets:
1. Have you student log in at Clever.com using “sign in with Google” and their school chromebook login. They all have this memorized as they use it multiple times every day.
2. Click on “Great minds”
3. Go to the “Resources” tab
a. Previous exit tickets will not show up under “my work” as they were assigned on paper
4. The resources tab defaults to kindergarten. At the top left corner click on “Kindergarten” to drop down a menu.
a. 6th Grade is level 6.
b. 7th grade uses both Level 7 and Level 8.
5. Select the Module
6. Find the lesson number and associated exit ticket
7. All exit tickets must be submitted on paper. At the top of a clean sheet of paper have your student write their name, and the exit ticket number that they are completing. They do not have to write the questions as long as the answers are clearly labeled.
a. If you have a home printer and would prefer to print the exit ticket I will also accept that
b. Exit tickets will not be printed at school. They are given each exit ticket as a part of their work book and instructed to keep up with and resubmit any exit tickets that did not receive full points.
