About Us

Established in 2008, the Maumelle Foundation for Education (MFE) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization that supports Academics Plus Charter School, Inc. ["APCS"]) campuses, teachers and students with funds not otherwise available through State and Federal funding to enrich the educational opportunities.

To support APCS and Pulaski Charter Schools, Inc. as a leader and innovator in public education through a broad base system of community support.

To enrich the educational opportunities in Academics Plus Charter School, Inc.

Foundation Goals

Goals that the Foundation has set to enrich public education in our community include:

  • To encourage academic excellence in the school district by providing funding not available through traditional local, state or federal resources.
  • To provide a perpetual source of funds through endowment gifts received from people like you, corporations, Foundations as well as interest earned on real estate and other investments.
  • To serve as a catalyst and conduit for involving Central Arkansas communities, which are served by the Pulaski Charter Schools, Inc. educational system.
  • To ensure that as many students and educationally value added projects in the district as possible have the opportunity to receive funds for an appropriate program each school year.
  • To lead long-term vision, planning and resource maturity for campus and facility developments through real property ownership and strategic funding relationships, while minimizing the financial impact to the districts operating fund.

Maumelle Foundation for Education Board of Directors

The Maumelle Foundation for Education Executive Committee and Board of Directors is comprised of citizen representing the Central Arkansas communities served by Academics Plus Charter School, Inc. They are passionate about ensuring that the APCS education system serves and challenges every child to reach their fullest potential.

There are currently significant opportunities for interested individuals and organizations to serve as members of the Maumelle Foundation for Education, Inc. Board of Directors. The executive committee is currently looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated and dedicated persons to join their team in supporting our vision and district goals.
