permanently destroy special education and 504
records for students who graduated, moved, or were
dismissed from services on or before June 2020.
This destruction is scheduled for October 1, 2026.
If you or your child received special education or 504
services from the district and you would like to obtain
copies of these records, please submit your request

Varsity Soccer Tryouts
Varsity soccer tryouts for students in grades 9–12 will be held at the high school from 4:00–5:30 p.m. on August 6 and August 7.
All students planning to try out must have a current physical before participating. You can email this to the appropriate coach or bring a physical copy.
Cleats are recommended but not required if you are new to soccer.

The boys' and girls' soccer teams are also looking for team managers for the upcoming season. Please email the appropriate coach if you are interested.

The time has come to prepare for your "Senior Year". Can you believe that you are almost done with high school? Well, Rising Senior Night will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 @5pm-6pm pm and your attendance is very important.
During Rising Senior Night, we will discuss graduation requirements, college planning, ACT dates, and graduation requirements. Please bring your parents/guardians. At a later date, following the meeting, a recording will be sent to those who cannot attend, but your attendance is VERY important.

APCSI is governed by nine (9) trustees as outlined in the APCSI Bylaws found on the APCSI website at Bylaws. This year there are four (4) board appointed trustee positions available. Three (3) positions are for terms lasting three (3) years ending in May of 2029. One (1) position is filling a vacancy with the term ending in May of 2028.
Unless rescheduled by the board of trustees, the appointment of trustees will be considered during the APCSI Annual Meeting on May 11, 2026 in the APCSI administration office at 600 Edgewood Drive, Maumelle, AR. The Annual Meeting will begin immediately following the conclusion of the regularly scheduled board meeting which will begin at 6:00p.m. Individuals interested in serving as a trustee are encouraged to submit their resume to rob.mcgill@academicsplus.org no later than May 1, 2026.

It is time to apply! Enroll now for the 26-27 school year.
When there is a possibility of school closure or delay, please watch for a text/email from the school. We will also notify the local TV stations (4, 7, 11, & 16). On the TV look for MAUMELLE CHARTER SCHOOLS or SCOTT CHARTER SCHOOL. One school could be open and the other closed. Every effort will be made to make a decision no later than 6:15 a.m. on the day a closing or delay may occur. We have several options concerning the closing/opening/delay of school. They are as follows:
1. Closed. (No school and evening events are cancelled, i.e. ball games, PTO meetings, etc.).
2. 1 hr. delay. (All morning activities are delayed 1 hour. No breakfast served).
3. 2 hr. delay. (All morning activities are delayed 2 hours. No breakfast served).
4. Open as normal. No text/email message or TV notification. Do not expect notification if we are open as normal.
Our goal is to have school open when at all possible, but the safety of students, staff and parents is the priority. There may be times when we do something different than surrounding school districts. Please make sure you watch for your school on the TV and be alert for a school email/text.
