Thank you for helping make this a sweet morning for our teachers and staff!

Since 1912, patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital have been creating beautiful artwork, and this project has grown into a meaningful tradition. Ayla’s artwork will now be featured on holiday cards, gift tags, and more—spreading joy and creativity for a wonderful cause!
Congratulations, Ayla, for being part of such a special legacy!

1st grader Bella Tchemchirov and 3rd grader Iris Biggs were selected for the Windgate Museum of Art’s 2026 K-12 exhibition, Imaginative Machines!
Chosen from nearly 600 entries across Arkansas, their artwork is now on display at Hendrix College alongside mechanical marvels dreamed up by student artists statewide. Way to go, Bella and Iris!

Let’s make it a sweet morning for our staff! ☕🥐

The Department of Education recently recognized three Maumelle Charter students. Harper Isbell (3rd), Adelyn Goucher (5th), and Audie Abernathy (9th) were selected to have their ornament designs on display at the Arkansas State Capitol. Congratulations! We are so proud of you!
The following information was sent from the department:
"Dear Educators,
Thank you for participating in the Arkansas Celebrates America250 State Ornament Project. We were truly amazed by the creativity, craftsmanship, and pride demonstrated by Arkansas students. It has been an honor to provide an opportunity to showcase the incredible talent of students from across our state.
We are excited to share that the full ornament display is now installed and open to the public at the Arkansas State Capitol. The collection is showcased in the Old Supreme Court Room and will remain available for public viewing through mid-January. In addition to the physical display, the ornaments are also featured in our new digital gallery. You and your students can explore the full collection at america250.ade.arkansas.gov. We are grateful for your support of ACA250 and for the meaningful learning experiences you have made possible in Arkansas classrooms."

After reading Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert, our class was inspired to go on a leaf hunt of our own! The students gathered beautiful fall leaves and used them to create their very own Leaf Men. They gave each one a name and imagined where their Leaf Man would travel—because, as the story says, “Leaf Man will go where the wind blows!” 🌬️🍃
