Representatives from McLarty Auto Group and news channel KATV visited Maumelle Charter High school to surprise Isabelle Titus with a scholarship. She was selected out of 400 applicants to receive this award. Way to soar Izzy! We are so proud of you!
Visit the Clinton Presidential Center this Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 10 AM to 1 PM for their Community Service-Learning Fair! Earn community service hours during the event through on-site service projects and sign-up directly with local organizations for future volunteer opportunities. The event is free and open to all students, but (only) 8th grade students MUST HAVE an adult with them.

Maumelle Charter High School Highlights of the Week!
Mrs. Scott's physical science class completed an acceleration scavenger hunt. They worked in small groups answering questions about acceleration and velocity in a way that got them up and moving! The also conducted a lab where we measured how long it took some students to run/walk 10/20/30/40 yards and then used the data to calculate velocity and acceleration.
Mrs. Stiles' and Mrs. Parker's hospitality club took to the hallway before school Thursday to share love and kindness as they promoted Suicide Prevention month. They had pins, stickers, tattoos, bracelets and of course candy to share with everyone.
Mr. Woods' 1st period EAST class created and signed a thank you poster for our school custodians. "We would be a mess without you." "Not all heroes wear capes, some carry mops."

Attention all Juniors!
You all will be taking the ASVAB Career Exploration Exam on October 6, 2026 at 9:00 AM in the auditorium.
The purpose of the ASVAB CEP is to figure out where to find career satisfaction, all the facts about your skills and interests, the world of work, and your post-secondary options to make informed decisions at no cost and no commitment.
The ASVAB Career Exploration Program includes a validated aptitude test and interest assessment. The results are used to guide career exploration using our career planning tools.

Please get plenty of rest the night before and come prepared with a clear and open mind. You will need to eat a balanced breakfast before school because there will be no "Second Chance Breakfast" for Juniors. The exam will begin on October 6 at 9:00 am until 11:00 am (1st-3rd period) at the latest. We plan to have all exams completed by 11:30 AM. ALL students will test in the AUDITORIUM.
Please make sure you bring your Chromebook and that they are fully charged!!!! Once the exams are completed, you will need to report back to class. Thank you for your time and cooperation. GO FALCONS!

Ms. Stroud's Spanish class did projects about Hispanic Heritage Month this week! Students worked in groups and chose any relevant topic to create a presentation about.
Mrs. Meeks AP Business class starting with fixed and material costs, teams competed to turn a profit by building the tallest tower possible. They earned revenue for every inch constructed, along with bonuses if their tower stood independently and held a piece of paper.
Mr. Cobi Johnson's AP US History class were creating presentations over the effects of the Revolutionary War.

Mr. Kalkbrenner's AP Physics Lab were measuring the time it takes a cart of various mass to go a set distance in order to calculate the acceleration of the cart and compare that acceleration with the theoretical acceleration they calculated from newtons 2nd law a=F/m!

We are excited to announce a field trip to the College Fair at Arkansas Tech University on Thursday, September 24, 2026.This is a fantastic opportunity to meet with representatives from in-state and out-of-state colleges, universities, military branches, and career/vocational industries. Important Details:
Priority Attendance: Open to all Seniors. Juniors are highly encouraged to submit slips as well and will be placed on a waiting list.
How to Apply: Have a parent or guardian complete the permission slip form. You can use the attached digital copy or pick up a printed version in our offices. ATU COLLEGE FAIR AND TOUR PERMISSION SLIP

The City of Maumelle and the Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce are excited to invite local schools to participate in their 3nd Annual Career Connect Fair on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 @ 10am-11am, at the Jess Odom Community Center.
Career Connect is designed to help students explore future career opportunities by engaging directly with local businesses, industry leaders, and community partners. Students will have the chance to:
Discover a variety of career paths
Learn about the skills and education needed for different industries
Make connections with potential mentors and employers

Varsity Soccer Tryouts
Varsity soccer tryouts for students in grades 9–12 will be held at the high school from 4:00–5:30 p.m. on August 6 and August 7.
All students planning to try out must have a current physical before participating. You can email this to the appropriate coach or bring a physical copy.
Cleats are recommended but not required if you are new to soccer.
Team Managers Needed
The boys' and girls' soccer teams are also looking for team managers for the upcoming season. Please email the appropriate coach if you are interested.
