Pulaski County Youth Services ACT Prep Program helps Pulaski County students avoid remediation and improve their ACT scores. ACT Prep classes are held each spring, summer, and fall. Initiated in 2006, our ACT Prep program provides 9th-12th graders a full-length practice exam, training on the four ACT subject areas (English, math, reading, and science), and teaches test-taking strategies. Hey Falcons! I have been so incredibly impressed with your behavior and ability to follow the rules from the start of this school year. As a result of your willingness to learn and the consistency with following the NO cellphone policy, we have seen more students working hard in your classes, paying attention, and exhibiting kindness towards each other! Our student leadership team is also doing an INCREDIBLE job of being the voice for the student body. Currently, they are in the process of creating a presentation for students and faculty that outlines students goals and values. Next week, they will be meeting with SGA and our incentive committee to develop more incentives for you. When you get the chance, please thank the student leadership team for their hard work. I also wanted to update you on some good news....starting next week, we are switching from Behavior Flip/High Five as our behavior platform to LiveSchool. Liveschool gives more incentives for positive behavior and the ability to give more rewards/activities to grade levels who show positive student performance. Students, with liveschool you will have a "data bank"of positive points where you can make "purchases" such as free dress, candy, etc. Parents, you will also receive a weekly wrap-up to stay "in the know" of your students behavior during the school day.  As a result of your hard work, I am declaring  tomorrow (August 30)  a "Free Dress" day for Maumelle Charter High School (this offer doesn't apply to any other days or MCES/MCMS)!
