Scott Charter School

APCSI is governed by nine (9) trustees as outlined in the APCSI Bylaws found on the APCSI website at Bylaws. This year there are four (4) board appointed trustee positions available. Three (3) positions are for terms lasting three (3) years ending in May of 2029. One (1) position is filling a vacancy with the term ending in May of 2028.

Unless rescheduled by the board of trustees, the appointment of trustees will be considered during the APCSI Annual Meeting on May 11, 2026 in the APCSI administration office at 600 Edgewood Drive, Maumelle, AR. The Annual Meeting will begin immediately following the conclusion of the regularly scheduled board meeting which will begin at 6:00p.m. Individuals interested in serving as a trustee are encouraged to submit their resume to rob.mcgill@academicsplus.org no later than May 1, 2026.

Our SGA Talent Show will take place this evening at 5:00 in the gym. Student participants will be escorted to the gym after dismissal.

Attached is a notice of important information about school on Friday, April 3, and Monday, April 6.

K-12th Spring Pictures take place next Monday, 3/30! Proofs sent home at later date. Uniforms not required, but dress code followed.

Kinder Cap and Gown Pictures will take place next Monday, 3/30! Pre-payments online are required https://shop.imagequix.com/g1001367164

Spring picture day for K-12 and kindergarten cap and gown pictures will take place on Monday, March 30th!

Parent/Teacher conferences for all grade levels takes place this Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-7:30! Contact teachers to schedule a time!

Students are loaded on the bus. The afternoon route has started. We apologize for the delay.

All bus riders are currently on campus in aftercare. The route will be delayed for approximately 45 minutes.

Due to a power outage, Extended Care for today, March 12, 2026, has been canceled. Students will need to be picked up at 3:15. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Audition forms for 2nd-12th grade students wanting to participate in our SGA talent show are due tomorrow!

Staff and students are invited to participate in the dress-up days for FFA Week and Dr. Seuss Day this week!

We hope to meet with many 3rd grade families next Monday, March 2nd, at 6:00 PM to give updates about the LEARNS ACT promotion law.

Update regarding SCS enrollment for the 26-27 school year.

ATLAS interim testing for 3rd-10th grade next week! Please see the attachment for details. We can't wait to see how much our students grew

Due to the recent winter weather, Scott Charter School was closed for six days. To ensure students receive the required instructional time, we will make-up 72 minutes of instruction on Monday, April 6, 2026. On this day, students will be dismissed at 4:30 p.m. instead of the usual 3:15 p.m.

The SCS Sweetheart Shop will be open to students this week! See the attached flyer for details! All proceeds support students and staff!

We invite all Scott Charter School (SCS) parents and guardians to join us for an important meeting to discuss the future of SCS and the students attending SCS.

The morning and afternoon bus route will take place tomorrow (2/5). However, due to road conditions, stops on Dorch Loop will not be made.
