Homecoming Spirit Days next week! All attire must still meet the APCSI Student Handbook free dress guidelines.

Candy grams will be sold next week for $1.00 each! All proceeds go towards supporting our SCS Band Program!

When there is a possibility of school closure or delay, please watch for a text/email from the school. We will also notify the local TV stations (4, 7, 11, & 16). On the TV look for MAUMELLE CHARTER SCHOOLS or SCOTT CHARTER SCHOOL. One school could be open and the other closed. Every effort will be made to make a decision no later than 6:15 a.m. on the day a closing or delay may occur. We have several options concerning the closing/opening/delay of school. They are as follows:

1. Closed. (No school and evening events are cancelled, i.e. ball games, PTO meetings, etc.).
2. 1 hr. delay. (All morning activities are delayed 1 hour. No breakfast served).
3. 2 hr. delay. (All morning activities are delayed 2 hours. No breakfast served).
4. Open as normal. No text/email message or TV notification. Do not expect notification if we are open as normal.

Our goal is to have school open when at all possible, but the safety of students, staff and parents is the priority. There may be times when we do something different than surrounding school districts. Please make sure you watch for your school on the TV and be alert for a school email/text.

We will be on Thanksgiving Break from Nov. 24th-28th. We will return on Monday, 12/1. We are so grateful for our Mustang families!

Thanksgiving lunch on November 20th. Payments need to be made online and forms turned in to teachers by next Friday, November 14th.

Due to the AM bus route not being conducted, families will not be penalized with children being marked tardy when brought to school.

SCS morning bus route will not be taking place due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Fall pictures that were ordered are being sent home today! Makeup picture day is Monday, November 17th.

Have a great Fall Break next week, Mustang Families! We will see our students back on campus on Monday, October 27th!

Red Ribbon Week is the week after Fall Break. Students must meet free dress guidelines when participating in dress up days.

Tomorrow (10/9) is the last day for pre-sale tickets for Fall Fest! We hope to see many families in attendance on Friday!
