A student shall not be in possession of a personal electronic device during the entire school day. Families may view the full policy in the APCSI Student Handbook as it pertains to our implementation of Arkansas Act 122 of 2025, Bell-to-Bell, No Cell.

APCSI has successfully completed two days of impactful professional development with our Instructional Leadership Team training. Thank you to the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching and to Mrs. Bright for your guidance and support in helping us build a strong, collaborative team structure. We’re excited to put this foundation into action to support all students in the upcoming school year!

The APCSI leadership team recently attended the APSRC Charter Conference. They were able to network with other charter school leaders from around the state. Mrs. Hyde also accepted the "2025 Top Growth Award" for the elementary schools.

MCES second grade student, Harper Isbell, was selected to have her artwork showcased in the 64th Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition this past weekend. She was one of only three 2nd grade students selected for the show out of about 370 submissions. Her artwork will be up and hanging in the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts until August 10th. H. Due to the threat of severe weather, all after-school activities, practices, and extended care are canceled for today, Wednesday, April 2, 2025. At this time, we plan to follow our regular dismissal schedule. We will continue to monitor conditions and update you if anything changes. Our February book token winners were chosen as "someone who goes out of their way to care for others!" We are so proud of these students!

Third graders in coding enrichment were tasked to make a chariot for their Sphero robot to drive. Each student/group had to make a carriage and something to pull it with. They also had to include at least one wheel on their chariot. Once they were all complete they practiced driving them and then had a race!

Each month, PTO teams up with our parents to provide our faculty and staff with a much-deserved breakfast! Our teachers look forward to receiving this wonderful and nourishing start to the day. We have been assessing road conditions this afternoon. While many roads are clear, others remain hazardous. For the safety of our students and staff, Maumelle Charter Schools and Scott Charter School will be closed on Friday, February 21, 2025. Please stay warm and safe.
