The previous message stated testing is from 9/9-9/13. NWEA testing will be from 9/10-9/13 for all students new to the district. There will be no second chance breakfast during the testing days.

If your child is needing help getting their CSL hours, see the sign-up below for our custodial assistance where students will help our custodial staff after school. This will be for one hour, Monday-Thursday. Your child MUST be signed up to participate.

Sept. 10 - Sept. 13: All new students will take the NWEA test Sept. 9 - Sept. 13: NO SECOND CHANCE BREAKFAST Sept. 10 - Sept. 20: Due to the book fair, the parent lunch room will be off limits. If you choose to eat lunch with your child, you will have to eat outside at the picnic tables.

It is time for our 4th and 5th graders to sign up for MCMS Enrichment! Please see the attached flyer to learn about the many different enrichment opportunities offered this year. Enrichment will begin on September 17th.

Parents/Guardians, this serves as a friendly reminder of our Math/Literacy Night on August 20, from 5:30 - 7:30. This is for all grades and will be completed in two groups. Group 1 from 5:30 - 6:30 and group 2 from 6:30 - 7:30. Which group you choose is up to you, we just ask that you are there at the start of either one. You will spend 30 minutes with your child's math and literacy teacher. Reach out to your teacher with any questions.


Fall Picture Day will be August 27. Students will be required to be in uniform. An order form will be sent out closer to the date for you to order pictures.

- Dropping off students in the middle of the street in front of the school is NOT allowed
- When dropping off or picking up, please pull all the way forward (rather than stopping by the cafeteria) to allow for others to do the same
- Just a reminder that there is no school supervision at the park, library, community center, or other areas off campus - the car line remains the safest method
